Ok so to start yes I know being over weight is a factor in infertility. So with that put aside do you feel it's right for your doctor to flat out tell you they will give you a referral to a bariatric clinic after trying to conceive for 11 months 5 of which were with there help and no pregnancy happening and not giving you any other options? Just if you do this we will help you after. I think bariatric surgery is a HUGE thing to do and to have them promise I'll have a baby after is ridiculous! Especially since I'm not extremely over weight! I know people way bigger who had children naturally and safely without surgery! I feel like I should have been given the option of <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> at least! I sent them a message be that I'm not as much in shock basically asking their reasoning and if we can at least talk about it. As much as I understand and would consider the surgery in the future, right now it just seems like a slap in the face with us having trouble conceiving as it is! What does everyone think? Am I over reacting? I've lost weight on my own since we started trying to conceive so I AM doing better and taking everything they ask. I track everything! Im 28 and my husband is 23. Should I look for another opinion? Or any advise on what I should do?
