Implantation spotting question

Hi ladies! We took a break from trying for another baby this month and didn't chart or do opks. If my cycle is as regular as it normally is I would be 7 dpo today. I went to the bathroom earlier and when I wiped I had some brown discharge. I've never had implantation spotting before so I'm not sure what it normally looks like. Now hubby and I are trying to figure out if it could be implantation spotting or if Mother Nature is going to play games with my cycle this month! Have you ever had implantation spotting? Was it brown or pink? HELP!!!!!
