Is it just me?

Question

I've seen so many post about ppl wanting or trying to induce labour early or before due date. Anyone else happy to just wait till your baby/body is ready to start labor naturally, without trying all these tricks to jump start it?
I completely understand for medical reason ppl need to deliver early. But with no complications I'm just letting my body do its thing, hoping baby will come at 40 weeks. He's comfy, growing well and safe in my belly. I want to keep him in there as long as he needs 💙  anyone else patiently waiting?

I wish I could wait but my chance of a successful vaginal delivery goes down every week after 37. My baby is measuring two weeks ahead. I believe my doctor and I would like a vaginal delivery .
It’s important to note that even if we all try the methods, they may not work. Babies come when they are ready.

Completely agree. I honestly think it’s kind of selfish. I know pregnancy is hard and uncomfortable but unless overdue why rush baby out…they (usually) come when they are ready. My daughter was born on her due date, she was small and needed the time to grow I believe.

With my daughter I was due 4th June, from 25th May I tried freaking EVERYTHING safe to induce labour. She was born on 12th June.
Honestly the baby comes when it's ready to. No point stressing yourself out and possibly even stressing your baby out and causing unnecessary interventions 🤷‍♀️ This time I'm just letting it happen in its own time. I'm 34 weeks and already super uncomfortable, so I get why people want baby here asap but the best thing you can do is just relax. Your body won't progress naturally if you're stressing yourself out.

I had a lot of fun my first pregnancy with doing all the things people suggest to induce labor, but I still had to be induced at 41 weeks because baby was not ready to come out yet. Now I don't believe in any of it (most of it has been debunked anyway) lol. Baby will come when baby is ready. No need to rush, I'm content waiting for spontaneous labor.

I’m jealous of y’all but I’m the best way possible. I’m getting induced at 39 weeks, if not before, for medical reasons. I’d love to go into labor naturally but it’s just not an option. I’m rooting for all of y’all!! ❤️❤️

So ready to have him here but also seeing all these posts about women trying to induce their own labor, and feel the same way that I want him to come as safely as possible! Not into trying tricks (which some can be dangerous) to rush his arrival

lol yeah same , I’m miserable but it’s up to my baby boy when he wants to come on out , not really in a rush . I just hope he is getting ready for whenever he decides to enter the world.
