Hey guys I wanted to ask if anyone else has run into this and if you talked to your guy about it, what did you say and how did it go?

I am never going to ask him to pick between me and the animals because I love them too, but when it feels like he’s choosing them over me in how much he puts in for effort it bothers me. I just want him to understand where I’m coming from that I’m missing the emotional intimacy from him. Anyone who’s had a conversation about lacking emotional intimacy from your partner with them, how did it go and what did you say?
