When did you get things ready?

Hello Mamas,
I’m a FTM due Christmas Day! I was just wondering when people pack their hospital bags, and wash all of baby’s clothes etc.? 
We definitely want everything done by the end of November at the latest, but I’ll be 36 weeks. So I’m eager to get the clothes and bags sorted sooner, but I don’t want the clothes to be sat in the drawers for too long, as I’ll end up washing them all again. So was just looking for some advice /tips! 🥰

I had all the baby clothes washed by the time I was 31 weeks. I started packing my hospital bags around 32-33 weeks. I’ll be 37 weeks tomorrow and everything is pretty much done; just doing a little cleaning here and there. It never hurts to start getting organized or at least making lists of what you’ll need 😊

I usually wash newborn and 0-3 month clothes around 36 weeks so they’re still reasonably fresh when baby arrives. I pack my hospital back while timing contractions before going into the hospital.

I got everything ready as I got it.
I had a huge shopping spree with baby clothes and washed them basically right away, so I'd say as soon as you have enough for a load of laundry, wash them.
I've had the bags packed since 30 weeks, besides chargers cause I'm still using them.
I would recommend getting everything done as soon as possible, because you don't know how things will go in your third trimester. I'm 35 weeks now and in so much pain, it hurts to move, I don't think I would be able to do everything at this point had I not already done it

I started around 30 weeks. I’m 32 weeks now and half about half of the things done. I don’t have the energy to do it all at once so 😂

My hospital bag was mostly packed at 33/34 weeks. I was scheduled for induction at 39 weeks, but I had GD so I wanted to be prepared Incase my sugars started being wonky and we needed to go earlier. I ended up going into labor at 37 weeks, so we still had to throw somethings into a bag real quick but we had time. We probably had more time than we gave ourselves honestly. My husband packed his while we were leaving and didn’t pack enough clothes. Next time I’ll pack his too.

I washed baby clothes and put them away around 30 weeks. I was waiting until around 34 weeks to pack a hospital bag. However, I ended up in labor and delivery at 31 weeks with preterm contractions and my husband had to frantically pack a bag at 3 in the morning and drive back to the hospital. After a 2 day stay the contractions stopped and we were luckily able to go home. So I suggest packing early because you never know what’s going to happen! Now We’re trying to get everything done in case he makes his entrance early.

I washed clothes at 37 weeks - after baby shower. I didn't get my bags packed and car seat installed until 39weeks. Labourer at home for houts before going into the hospital i had time to repacked bags, do laundry, clean my house and watch Netflix (it's not as fast as the movies make it look).
