I had been in and out of the hospital for 2 weeks prior due to pre eclampsia. At 36 weeks and 6 days I had went in for some contractions I had went from a 1 to a 3 in like 36 hours so they waited to see if I progressed anymore and I did a little bit so they talked to me about admitting me. We had a slight issue 😅 I forgot all of my stuff for the hospital stay my bag was basically empty luckily I had packed the baby's bag the night before just Incase. They admitted me and got me in pitcotin/fluids at 12:15 AM 8/26 I labored for 7 hours unmedicated not feeling anything then they upped my pitcotin by 3 levels so my contractions got horrible. At like 7am I got the IV meds and went to sleep until 8am then they came and broke my water and tried to put internal monitors on baby but I was to tense so I decide to get an epidural 15 hours into labor. I had been at 6cm for most of that time not progressing. After I got the epidural everything was great until 8cm. At 8cm I started to feel everything again they tried giving me extra epidural meds and it didn't work at all. Once I was finally at a 10 I pushed for a little over a hour before finally my 7lbs 8oz baby girl was born 😌
