So I have two questions. I’m a new mom with a 1 month old and I’m just curious if I’m overthinking or over worrying.

First thing is she blows a lot of spit bubbles, there’s no sign of teeth so she’s not teething. It produces a lot of drool is that normal or should I be concerned? Sometimes it’s like she doesn’t want to swallow. If she gets really upset she starts to gag like she’s chocking, which is why I’m concerned.

Second thing is she prefers one side of her head. No, her head doesn’t look flat and in certain positions she can turn her head to the other side, but when doing tummy time she can’t/won’t turn her head to the left. Yet, if her head starts on the left she’ll immediately turn it to the right. Even on my chest she will not turn her head fully to the left she just shakes it back and forth like she’s trying to nurse.

Am I freaking out for nothing or should I go to her doctor ?
