Tw possible miscarriage

I think I could be experiencing a miscarriage.

For the past week have been passing strange bloody brown discharge/tissue. Very very small. Have been having slight cramping which I thought could be my period but period hasn’t come.

I am on the pill as we’re not ttc. And had just come up to the sugar pills. Period has never been like this.

If I went to the doctor could they confirm or would it be too late to tell?

If anyone has been through something similar I’d love to know. I think it would be super early if so.
