What age did you give your toddler a crib pillow and duvet ?

My daughter is 2 and I’m just wondering if it’s safe to give her a pillow and duvet. The one I’m looking at says for 12 months + but I’m just looking for other’s options.

I gave my kids pillows around 14m and they moved to twin beds at 15m with regular blankets.

When our son got a twin bed at age 2, he got a toddler sized pillow and a blanket.

Once they are in a toddler bed or bed you can. No blankets or pillows in cribs or pack n plays.

At 2!? Go for it momma! You can start with a very small travel pillow if that reassured you more. Walmart has them with pillowcases. The pillowcases have a zipper though so I just turned it inside out and shimmied the zipper closed from inside so it wouldn’t be an issue digging into soft faces. 😊
Around 1 for the blanket is what I’ve always heard. My son was safely and independently playing with blankets during wake time by 8 months old but since you’re sorta out of it and groggy while sleeping I didn’t trust him with it for sleep until 1 as recommended.
The pillow sorta depends on your kid. 
My son slept on his belly and scooted around for a long time until around 1.5. 
I always laid him down facing the same direction. Whether he went to his belly or not his head was always on one end. When he started sleeping on his back and still kept his head on one end, I gave him a pillow. We have never had a problem.
One of my friend’s sons was allllll over the dang place all night long and at naps until he got his big boy bed. They gave him a pillow around 1.5 after he mastered his blanket but it was more trouble than help, he just tossed that sucker around and put it under him and over him and fidgeted with it all night long. 😆

Around 17/18 months is when we introduced a pillow and duvet. My son is 2 years and 3 months and still sleeps with the silent night toddler ones as they're breathable.

You totally can. At 2.5 I started letting my kiddo sleep with things. I just really wanted to avoid giving her a lot in her crib. A toddler bed feels safer for those things. She's still in a crib, but she does sleep with a blanket and stuff now. Not introducing a pillow until I move her to a toddler bed, just because I think it might help with the novelty of it.

18 months bc we knew he was strong enough and knew his sleeping patterns well enough to know he was ready. It’s going to depend on the baby and how they’ve developed. There are recommendations of course, but only you can make that decision for your baby.

Toddler pillow (it's super flat) and toddler throw blanket at 2.5. She doesn't really sleep with them much but needs to have them in her crib with her. I hate it but she won't fall asleep without them
