What's a comment a someone has said trying to compliment you but totally missed the mark? (With good intentions)

Most recently for me, the guy i was talking to who loves how big my lips are said that i must need a lot of chapstick and moisturizer. Since my lips are so big they must dry out faster 😂🤣 Bless his heart. I see what he was trying to do but he took a sharp left turn 😂♥️

My step-dad, he raised me so he's my dad always said, "you're built just like your mom! Those hips are breeding hips! You're good stock."

for me it's calling any part of me "big" or "fat" (as in a fat azz). I've always been self conscious of my weight so it bothers me even when I know their intentions are complimentary.

My ex husband and I were at his friends house for my ex husband's birthday. His friend told me, in front of his wife and my husband, that he "has to remind himself that he's married when I'm around." To which his equally married cousin jumped in with it's the same for him. 1 I never out myself out there like that. Meaning I wasn't flirtatious or like coming on to them in any way, shape, or form. 2 their wives and my husband were standing right there listening to this being said. Imagine how that made them feel. 3 just gross and creepy and why would you even think that's an okay thing to say to someone? 
That and any "compliment" that puts someone else down...isn't a compliment.

One time I was going to shower ( which I do daily!) and she made a comment like how white people don’t shower - and good that I do it!! 😳
