I'm new here so I'm not really quite sure what a chemical pregnancy is. I never heard about it until I joined the app. Can someone please explain?

A chemical pregnancy is an early pregnancy loss that occurs soon after implantation, usually less than 5 weeks of pregnancy. There may be a positive pregnancy test but then a period comes or the test is no longer positive. Blood test can confirm. Many women may not even realize they have had an early miscarriage if it happens soon after a missed period or if they weren’t taking pregnancy tests.

Answer

When you test early, before af is due. And ot shows positive only to get lighter and lighter. Then you bleed around the time.your period is due, or slightly late.
Doctors calls pregnancy loss before 6 to 7 weeks a chemical pregnancy bc the only way you knew of the pregnancy was the test. At under 6 weeks you wouldn't see a baby on an ultrasound
