How long did you wait to have another baby?
I’m a 21 year old FTM
I just had my first baby 3 weeks ago so I’m definitely not rushing it my baby is my number one top priority right now but I do want my kids to be close in age 
I just want to hear from other young moms about their experiences and any advice y’all have on starting a family young ❤️

My first two (that I had at 18 and 20) were only 18 months apart.  I definitely recommend a bigger age gap than that.  I was so so exhausted that I didn’t enjoy the first year with my second at all.  My third and fourth are just over 2 years apart and it’s a lot easier

I had my first at 21 too, will be having my second in February… I turned 24 in July. 
We planned 3 years and it will be almost exactly 3 years, his birthday is 14 March and I’m due 13 February.

I had my first at 22 (got pregnant when I was 21), and had my second at 26 (got pregnant at 25), so they’re 3 years and 8 months apart. I love this age gap because my second is already pretty independent and can do a lot of things for himself while I’m feeding the baby or putting her down for a nap.

Life doesn't always turns out the Way you plan I'm 29 and our 10th baby it's just a little over two months old lol we tried a lot of birth controls that failed even IUD end up pregnant on it in 2 months end up in MC! After taht we gave up if God wanted us to have more we were open to taht :) our kids are ALL 12-15 months apart the only gap we have that are 17 months apart is after our Twins were born we went through 2 months along MC and got pregnant after that shortly! It's rough but our house is ALWAYS filled with love and joy amd I wouldn't change it for the world 😘♥️

You’re a lot younger than me, but maybe my “perspective” can help you. 
I have an 18 and a 4 months old, so there’s 14 months age gap. Honestly I can see now, they’re have a unique bond, but it is a lot of work with 2 little children… I’m exhausted, tired and emotional all the time!! I feel like I can’t really focus on them, and even I love them very very much, I missing out a lot of things… I feel guilty: I can’t spent more time and enjoy every moment with my daughter because of my 4 months old son needs me most of the time. I thought I could do this easily, because a lot of women does, but I cry a lot, because I feel sorry for my daughter, she clearly misses me 😞

I'm not exactly "young" as I had my first at 26 but currently have a 2yr old (26months) and a newborn. I would suggest a minimum age gap of the 2 years. Having a toddler and newborn is exhausting even with daddy's help on paternity leave. My toddler however is just starting to talk more and if she were more vocal I think that would def help a lot with caring for her while also trying to care for sister.

I'm older than you, I'd wanted to have kids earlier but things didn't quite work out.
I had my first a month before I turned 29 and my second 18m later. We never prevented pregnancy after my first as we also wanted the first 2 close together and that's when I started ovulating again. My kids absolutely adore each other and I love how close they are. We meant to wait longer but my second is almost 17m and we're having baby 3 next month. It was definitely easier to have 2 18m apart than being pregnant with 2 under 3.
