Do you guys enjoy cleaning the house and cooking for your partner?

I dont know if it’s because ive only been living with my bf for about two years and im new to it. But I LOOOVE cleaning the house and cooking all his meals for him😭😂❤️. He does not demand anything i jist love to do it hes working 50 hours a week right now and im in school through the week and work on the weekends and ofcourse im sleepy sometimes but i love the look of appreciation on his face when he notice i cleaned the house. Or when he wakes up to breakfast and when his lunch is already packed for the next work day❤️. Ive been through alot of toxic relationships he has prove the “all guys are the same” completely wrong. And ofcourse he will have food waiting for me when i get home from school without evening asking. I think im definitely in love😂❤️.

Like another commenter, I enjoy it when it’s appreciated and something I do on my time by choice. I do not enjoy it when it’s expected of me.

Do not do everything for your grown partner. You will regret it. Treat you partner as your equal and take care of the home together. I promise you will get tired of it- that look of appreciation becomes expectation. You’re not doing you, them or your relationship any favors by babying your partner. I’m not saying don’t do anything for anyone. I’m simply saying don’t do everything, every day, for everyone. It’s taxing and will take a toll. 
Have a cook together night, then a partner cooks night, a fend for yourself night. Fold laundry together while watching your favorite shows, wash and dry dishes together, meal prep and food shop as a team.

I will never enjoy cleaning no matter how happy it makes my husband. But I do enjoy cooking for him and how many things he loves when I make them that he didn't used to like.

I did this with my husband. I was 20 when I met him and loved the “house wife” role. Now I’m 30 and regret it BIG time. He never expected it but now it’s almost like if I don’t do it, he questions if I still love him. It’s made for a very toxic environment and some serious talks. I have a baby now. I can be serving him breakfast everyday and getting his lunch ready when I’m also cleaning, taking care of dogs and putting myself last always. His dad warned me early on I was spoiling him and man I wish I listened. I’ve stopped doing the breakfasts and stuff and I can definitely tell he’s bitter about it.

I love him with all my heart but no. I hate cooking. I do feel good when he enjoys my cooking though. And I do cook to show my appreciation. I don't mind cleaning usually but he's pretty messy and I have 2 toddlers (almost 3) so now I hate cleaning too. I clean and it gets messy an hour later. I hate it.

We have a maid but I still will adjust things to my exact liking when she leaves because I like things in a very particular way and whenever someone else does it, it’s just not up to my own personal standards. I do enjoy cooking for my family because we grow a lot of our own food so it’s an amazing feeling to actually grow what you eat and far healthier. 
After our baby is born, and some time passes I was thinking of letting our maid go because I just want to do the cleaning how I like it done (not that she does a bad job she’s amazing) I would just prefer if it’s just me taking care of the house. My Husband will cook and clean too, but again because I’m so dang particular about literally everything (I’m a Taurus 😂) I just would prefer to do it myself and that makes me happy when I can have everything just the way I like it 🥰 so I mean I enjoy cooking and cleaning for myself not to make anyone else happy, but my family sure appreciates it ❣️

Nope I hate it 🤣. I do most of it because I work from home so I'm here the most but I don't enjoy cleaning or cooking. Since being pregnant and feeling terrible most of the time the place is a mess and most meals are quick and easy 😂 .
My OH doesn't expect me to do anything and will often, especially while I'm feeling bad get home from work and cook dinner.
