Hernias and Fibroids BEFORE Pregnancy

Seeking Advice:

Hopefully this is allowed:

I have had several hernias throughout my lifetime two in my groin area an umbilical hernia and a hernia next to my umbilical-hernia.

I had a surgery to remove pedunculated fibroid 8 years ago I have a huge scar from navel to upper pubic area.

I have no pain or problems ever from these hernias as I elected to have them closed.

I have a mesh in my stomach from my last hernia surgery 7yrs ago. No problems, no pain.

I am now 1 month pregnant and wondering if they’re any Moms who had a healthy pregnancy with hernias pre-pregnancy?

Are there any Moms who have a history of fibroids who had a healthy pregnancy and vaginal birth where the fibroids didn’t explode or keep growing?

Will the hernias affect me having a vaginal birth? I really don’t want to be cut again. I am seriously nervous.

Does anyone have any advice or input regarding pregnancy and hernias and previous abdominal surgeries?

Will my hernias affect my pregnancy…?
