Hello! I've had the nexplanon implant since May of 2015. I was told my period should regulate within 3 months. It's been 7 months and I'm still having heavy spotting and irregular periods. I've tried just about every form of birth control available but I've been told that have a hormone imbalance so I can't use anything too harsh. Has anyone else experienced this irregularity? Should I wait it out or go ahead and switch to another form of birth control? Could it be the huge amount of sex that my boyfriend and I have that's throwing me off?
