I was around someone who’s child tested positive for RSV. I wear a double mask and I wear safety glasses at work. This person came to my job with a stuffy nose and was coughing. Is it possible to transmit RSV to my daughter through another persons child?

RSV can be passed through adults. Keep super clean - wash hands often. Double masking probly won’t make a difference, it’s all in the hand washing.

Who knows! Masks aren’t 100% affective…was your kid in daycare?

Yep. And adults can have it too, but since most people get it when they're like 0-2 years old, we don't exhibit the many symptoms. It's a tough thing to have your child have RSV. We just went through it a couple weeks ago. She had only a low fever, but there's not much you can do with the virus besides Motrin and Tylenol, and humidifier too. She made it through and she's better now.

Yes. Even though REV is not common for adults, we can still give it to our children. My daughter had RSV for about 4 weeks with temperatures as high as 103.8. So I would be careful and make sure you’re washing your hands
