Strep throat ? Tonsillitis ?

When I woke up yesterday morning I had a really bad sore throat and I still have it tonight. Usually when I am starting to get a cold I will have a sore throat but it will gradually come and it will go away usually after one day. My throat hurts really really bad! But I also have a stuffy nose. Does strep throat and tonsillitis caused these

symptoms as well? No fever no cough.
