Whose relationship just got worse with their mother after having a baby?

Mine was never really good or close but I genuinely thought that after having a baby we will be closer.

My baby is only 8 months and she already started with her bullshit. Yesterday she came to a visit 🙄 for like 20min and immediately wanted to hold him. I was holding him and because he didn’t show that he wants to go into her arms I didn’t gave him. So she started with grandma is not going to buy you anything if you are like that. 🙄 She is used to buying her love from my uncle’s kids and it is something we aren’t allowing.

Once we were supposed to go to lunch and before leaving she called my husband to bring our baby a jacket because it is cold outside. Like we are stupid or something. A ton of stupid advices, outdated and dangerous.

And billion other problems with her and I just can’t anymore. She is causing me so mich stress and I tried to keep my distance she just doesn’t get it.

I am so jealous when I se a mother and daughter almost like best friends.

My husband is feed up and about to explode and everytime we say something it is a fight and she starts to cry and play the victim.

She was never diagnosed but I do think she has some narcissistic symptoms.

Just need to vent I guess ☹️
