Dark brown discharge ?

Hi ladies I'm just curious if any of you have this problem, it happens once in a while  right when I get my period instead of red bc of the blood it comes out like dark brown I want to say almost like 💩? Is it just me bc my other friend has the same thing happen to her, do any of you ?

Yes. It's just old blood. No need to worry unless it has a bad odor. If the odor is bad it could be an infection

So this is normal? I'm on nuva ring and took it out Saturday for my period, then it started Tuesday which is normal. But it started light almost as spotting now it's dark brown & dark red when I wipe and fills up my pad throughout a few hours. This is normal? I'm only on day 2 of my period. And I don't take out nuva ring every 3 weeks. Normally I do the 4 weeks and then change it like my dr said but I thought it was ok to have a period and make sure everything's good.
