I’m sorry if this don’t make much sense it’s just never happened to me before!

Me and my partner having been ttc for a while now and I’ve NEVER ovulated on my own( pcos) We finally got medication to help kick start everything and I’ve started medroxyprogesterone yesterday. I’ve been missing peeing on sticks so I decided to take an ovulation test not thinking much off it and this is the first positive I’ve ever gotten! I have never got a smile on my test before so I’m just wondering… is this a fake positive? Is this down to my tablets? My discharge is still thick so auger confused. Any help would be amazing
