What do back contractions feel like??
Hi ladies, so I’m 37 weeks pregnant, and I’ve been getting like very strong pains in my lower back that feel like very strong pulses, they’re not very close together but Ive been having them throughout the day a lot, every day they seem to come more often, are these still Braxton Hicks ?? Also they do take my breath away, and my stomach does get really hard 😓

This far along Braxton Hicks can definitely hurt. Back labor is often caused by malposition of baby, do you know how baby is situated? There are exercises you can do to help get baby better aligned for birth. Look up Three Sisters of Balance from Spinning Babies

Yes!!!!! This is the best description of back labor. I had it with my first too. Absolutely awful.
I had back labor and back contractions. They are a strong burning pressure pain in your lower middle back that comes and goes. Call labor and delivery and let them know if you can time them and they are close together

Yeah it’s a pretty horrible pain like everything under that pain spot is going to fall off. Braxton Hicks aren’t supposed to hurt you can always call labor and delivery and they will give you more info and help you distinguish between the two

Yes that’s how they feel! and they take my breath away, but they’re still not too close together, so that’s why I’m not sure if they’re real contractions or just Braxton Hicks /:
Back contractions for me felt like a constant stabbing pain that would not go away. It is the most uncomfortable thing I've ever felt, and I can handle pain. It's totally different than regular contractions.
