Better laws for stalking?

Stories like this creep me TF out. Stalking should be taken much more seriously in my opinion.  But exactly how does that happen? Stories like this keep happening and it’s taking longer and longer for something to actually be done about it.

It needs to be taken seriously first and foremost and it needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent. This is incredibly scary and all because someone was having fun and doing cosplay?! It’s absolutely ridiculous! I fear for today’s youth and the amount of delusioned narcissistic god complex filled never been told men in the fucking world

Stalking should absolutely have bigger consequences, a lot of certain crimes I feel need different punishments. Like rape. Abuse. Most people who do those things, continue to do those things. Repeat offenders and those crimes really harm people the most. They have lasting affects. It’s absolutely disgusting in my opinion. Fucking shit like Brock turner. Slap on the fucking wrist while she’s going to suffer her entire life.

Stalking absolutely needs to be taken more seriously. I was stalked for years as a minor, from 15 until 19. The police didn’t do anything, they told my parents to “watch me closer.” The man literally followed me on the school bus.

Stalking needs to be taken more seriously. I was stalked online and the police wouldn’t do anything unless he physically did something to me. Many people will say block the person as if they can’t make multiple accounts 🙄. My stalker found literally all my social media. He finally left me alone in 2019.

When I was 19 I was a YouTuber and some woman from the Bronx (I think) was stalking me. Doing voodoo, sending me her used makeup and hair accessories, hair, etc. One day it went from only my PO Box being filled to her mailing me at my home! 🤯💀 making claims that I needed to meet her son who passed in a car accident years prior. Very scary, police didn’t care because she didn’t “DO” or directly make any threats. It’s a cold world, I can understand why they can’t do much but at some point, enough is enough.

This guy sounds seriously mentally ill... like a full-blown psychotic disorder. In addition to facing the consequences of his actions, it sounds like he would benefit from treatment too. 
There definitely should be harsher punishments for abusers, stalkers, rapists, etc.
