Baby nerd 37 weeks

I always have a bad way to start my stories but here it goes. First a little background… doe to my work I am given a check up every mostly for stress. For the last 6 years I have had a good colesterol levels great glucose and good blood pressure (even with a family history of diabetes and high blood pressure). I have always been on the heavy side and working from home has not helped.

Any way. Due to my weight from day one they have treated me as if I had GD. All my testing came out good but one with that I was on metformin. I work in a call center, in a collections department so stress is unavoidable. My work made my blood pressure go high and I was hospitalized for 3 days and made my plan go out the window due to u was “forced” to go to my maternity leave early.

My plan was to have my babe 4 days before my due date so I can have 80 days with her. One month in to my maturity leave on August 12 I start getting manageable back pain I was in able to sleep and do my normal routine. All night I would get the most one hour sleep due to I was in pain and had to go to the bathroom every hour. 7am on august 13 I went to the imss (Mexican institute) where I was admitted at 37 weeks due to high blood pressure and was told that I had to be induced or be in risk.

The hospital is a pro natural birth, c-section was a last option if my baby was not doing any process. I gave birth at 11:55pm on august 13 to a beautiful baby girl. 6.7 lb and 19in. No pain killers no epidural and alone. Shortly after my doctor inserted the iud under my request (my whole pregnancy I was asked what form of birth control I wanted)

Thanks to COVID my husband was not allowed to be with me. This man was outside of the hospital from 7am till 4am the next morning. He was not allowed to see me in postpartum and due to high blood pressure I had to stay there for 3 days.

2week ago I just got back to work. And all I can say is I really thankful for the doctors and nurses who took care of us I was the only first time mom in a ward of experience mothers. My baby girl is perfect. She’s healthy. She is loved.
