Why does if feel tender and sore under my right rib cage?

Hi ladies any thoughts to this? It's been pretty persisten for about a half hour to an hour now. It woke me up. I would really appreciate some thoughts. I'm 16 weeks of that helps.

I had something like this (maybe) the other day. I woke up in pain like ribs area- sides- like a bruised sore feeling if I bent it hurt. I lied on my side and drank water and after 30 minutes fell back asleep. Weirdest thing ever.

It could be gall bladder issues

It could be pressure from your uterus/rib cage expanding. Talk to your doc if it bothers you too much but your rib cage does move to adjust for the baby

My doc said this is very normal - just your body shifting to make room. Uncomfortable though!

Thank you all for the advice. It seems to have finally died away. Here's to hoping it doesn't come back. It's super uncomfortable lol

Is your bra to tight? I had the same thing got a bigger bra that helped

I literally just wrote a comment about right rib pain an hour or so ago. Mine feels like pain and sometimes a little tingling. I'm getting worried but hope it's nothing. Any other symptoms for you?
