Do you get second US at 12 weeks?

So I have an OBGYN appointment later today, and not that it necessarily matters, but, do you typically get an ultrasound on your second OBGYN appointment? My first was at 7 weeks and 6 days. Today I am exactly 12 weeks. Just curious if I should get real excited!!

Mine were at 6 weeks and 9 weeks and 19 weeks, so about the same distance apart as your two. It really depends on the clinic, there’s no standard for how many or how often to have them!

Depends on the office. My OB does 8, 12-14, and 20. Generally the 12-14 is done if you opt out of the NIPTs testing but not always. They also give out a sheet with the breakdown of what to expect at each appointment, maybe ask if your office has that.

no you typically only get a dating scan around 8w and then the anatomy scan at twenty. you have to schedule ultrasounds, they don’t just give you one everytime you go in.
