Implantation bleeding or start of period?

I think it's implantation bleeding, but I'm not sure. My period isn't supposed to start till Saturday or Sunday, and I ovulated between the 16th and 18th.

It’s just mid-cycle spotting which can happen due to a variety of reasons. Most commonly a result of a slight dip in Progesterone or cervical irritation.
