Is this normal

I've been on birth control for my whole adult life. I just recently met the man I've been hoping was out there for me. We're perfect together and we want a child. I went off of birth control two months ago and now this month with like 5 days to go until I start my period I have a very white, creamy, icky discharge. I have no itching or smell or anything like that so what's going on? TIA
