How often do/did you pump at 4 months PP?

FTM, I’m 4 months postpartum. I’m exclusively pumping. I pump every 6 hours (4 times a day) and get 7-10oz. At times I have an oversupply and I’m tired of putting breast milk in freezer and keeping track of it.  I still pump once at night. 
 I’m also tired of pumping and want to cut back a bit.  Any suggestions? Should I just go down to pumping 3 times a day?

Realistically to keep your supply you should be pumping every 4 hours or as often as your baby eats. I think when i was 4mpp with my first i was pumping 6-7 times a day including overnights. If you cut back a pump you will lose more of your supply

At 4 months post partum I pumped at 4 am, 9 am, 4 pm and 9 pm exclusively pumping an produced 40-45 oz per day. I stopped pumping at 7 months when I had 4,000+ oz frozen which got my daughter past her first birthday.

With my last baby I exclusively pumped 4x/day from 4mpp till I stopped at 10 months pp since I have enough frozen to last till we’ll over a year old. Everyone’s baby reacts different to decreasing pumps. With my current baby I’ll be dropping to 4 ppd also at 4 mpp. How much longer are you wanting to pump? If you’re wanting to go to a year I’d wait a couple more months before decreasing sessions any further.
