Can a man who is not the biological father love a child as if they were his own

Serious question. Please no judgement. I want to move on and be a family but have been feeling like I can’t because no one will ever except and love my son like their own. All I keep reading on FB is how a baby decreases a womans worth. Is that true? Do guys really not want to be with a woman with a kid?
