Please help! Reassurance or the truth

Hello Ladies,

So I'm "8 weeks" pregnant by LMP but 6 weeks by ultrasound. The baby has a "crown rump" which they are telling me is a good thing. I had spotting last night, pink with each wipe for a few hours and cramping followed by some brown discharge. (sorry TMI).

On 10/22 my HCG was 29,000

today 10/28 it was 24,000

I called my OB freaking out, spotting lowered HCG they said once the crown rump is spotted they don't go off the hcg as it can fluctuate but the internet says it's not common. I had primary infertility and had my first son, my second son was a spontaneous pregnancy. Neither of my kids I bled with. I have been anxious this pregnancy.
