Azoospermia

Nicole

Hi y’all!

2.5 months ago my boyfriend had his first semen analysis and was told their was no sperm in his semen. At first we had made appointments at different fertility clinics but really did not get good vibes from the few we contacted so we then found a “urologist” who actually turns out to me a nurse practitioner.

Anyway we made appointments at LabCorp for the appropriate labs that she recommended:

CBC and Differential

Y-Chromosome Microdeletion

Chromosome Analysis (We didn’t get this done)

Well the CBC came back that he had high FSH and LH and prolactin so she recommended an MRI to check the pituitary gland - well the results came back fine.

The Y-Chromosome test came back NEGATIVE (Thank God).

But then the nurse calls my boyfriend and says she has no clue of what to do next because everything came back fine so she recommends seeing a fertility doctor to figure it out.

So then I ask her “sooo what about the high hormones, is their nothing you can do about that?” - I am waiting for her response.

I am glad that his results aren’t bad but she’s no help!!
