Should I tell my mother in law

Backstory: My boyfriend and I have been together for four years we got an apartment together a year ago but previously we had been living with his parents for about a year and a half.

I found out I was pregnant a few months ago and am currently four months pregnant, we told my boyfriends parents pretty soon after we found out and as soon as we told them his mom went crazy with excitement and started buying stuff for the baby, but she's only been buying things for her house she's bought a crib, bassinet, a swing, changing table, toys and tons of new clothes, all brand new. I have no problem with her buying things but she hasn't actually bought much of anything for us at our house and what she has bought she got clothes and a swing from the thrift store and while I'm fine with clothes I told her from the beginning I didn't want toys or anything but clothes from there because of germs and not knowing what's been on them. My mother in law also seems to think the baby will pretty much live with her because she's always talking about when the babys there and has even tried to get us to move back in with them but we've told them were staying at our place. I just don't know what to do and it's really starting to annoy me that she's bought all this stuff for her and pretty much nothing for us and the fact that she thinks my baby will live with her. My boyfriend keeps telling me to just let her do what she wants to make her happy and she'll realize that baby won't be staying with her very much when the baby gets here but I feel we need to tell her that before the baby comes so she doesn't keep waisting her money on things for her house.
