Anyone else’s baby dislike / are afraid of certain people?

My daughter really dislikes my FIL. He is very upset by it. Anytime he comes near her she cries. If he’s sitting a distance away from her she will constantly have eyes on him to make sure he doesn’t come too close. He’s a lovely man but does have a loud voice. He also has a beard and the only other person she dislikes (a friend of ours) also has a beard so I’m not sure if it’s connected. He’s trying to give her space, not talking directly to her, etc. to try and get her used to him but it doesn’t seem to be working so far. I’m hoping it passes soon! Is anyone else in a similar situation?
