How to politely say NO MORE TOYS 🤣

Taylor

So my daughter just had a birthday and got a bunch of toys from everyone on my husbands side (the annoying, useless, loud ones 🥴)

His parents asked us what everyone could get her, so I sent them a few learning activities that she would enjoy, her outfit size, and also let them know she had a bank account opened and we would love to start building it up for her. Well as usual, that whole side of the family got her nothing we suggested and just bought toys. None of which are age appropriate or really help with learning.

Now with Christmas coming, i know they will be asking soon. I have one “big” gift picked out for his parents to get her, but other then that we don’t need anymore crap, we have absolutely NO room left.

How do I say, no more crap. Firstly, I’ve said that no one (aunts, uncles, great grandparents, etc.) needs to even get her anything, she’s only one, she doesn’t need much, but they insist. I’m not trying to be rude or greedy, but I don’t have space for this, they are just wasting their money as she doesn’t even play with the stuff. If they insist on getting her a gift, we would appreciate money for her bank account, or some clothes in the next size. But again, they don’t listen and I don’t want to come across as an ungrateful ass
