When ???

Hi guys so I was a week late and I had a very very bad cramps after lifting heavy items when I was moving things in my room. to the point I was curling after 2 days I took a test it was a faint line then the very next day I had a heavy period. Then I tried taking test again 4 days on my period and still faint fainter than the last one may I ask when should I take a test and is normal? Its the very first time I had experience that.
