Gout relief?

This may sound like an odd request. But does anyone happen know any tips/tricks & remedies to lower uric acid & pain relief for gout? My husband has suffered from it for about 2 years now and nothing seems to work. Just wondering if anyone out there may have a tip or two on how to treat the pain.

So sorry about the pain. You may need a rheumatologist consult. 
You will need a 3/4 day steroid prescription and NSAID precautions- maybe combine slow release diclofenac and 3/4 prednisone. 
Topical painkillers like deep heat or diclofenac gel can also help.

I know a guy who had gout for years, and he started taking a pinch of celery seeds a day, and after a month , he was truly thankful. Also, that expensive tart cherry juice helps too.

My husband has this as well… steroids help it go away faster and there are specific meds for daily and for breakthrough pain. Cherry juice is good too but it’s a very specific kind, and has to be straight cherry juice… nothin else mixed
