When do you put away Halloween decor, and put up Christmas decor?

Not sure why people skip thanksgiving lol? Ours goes up after that.

I do harvest decorations between, but if the snow is predicted to come in November the outdoor decorations go straight to Yule. Most of my outdoor fall decor is wood, straw and corn, not good to let them get snowed on.

I take Halloween stuff down the day after- that week but leave any fall stuff. Then once thanksgiving day is over we start putting all Christmas stuff out!

I don’t really decorate for fall/Halloween. We put up Christmas/Diwali decorations this past week… normally it’s from around the beginning of November till the beginning/middle of January in our house. To me, we can use all the holiday-light-induced serotonin that we can possibly get 😂

Don't do Halloween, but Christmas/Yule decor comes up 1st December, or the first Sunday of advent whatevers comes first. The Christmas tree comes in the evening of the 23rd December and it all stay till 1st January.

Halloween decorations are coming down this week, but I’ll leave the fall decor up until Remembrance Day (November 11th). November 12th is when I’ll start taking the Christmas decor out.

I usually leave my Halloween stuff up until thanksgiving then swap to Christmas. If I had thanksgiving decor I’d be switching this weekend but most of my Halloween stuff is fall stuff too so it works

I normally take Halloween decor down the night of halloween. The rest of the fall decor stays up till the end of November but the christmas tree goes up on thanksgiving night in order for me to take time putting up the rest of the Christmas decorations.
