Anyone else get heart palpitations??

Hi ladies, I'm currently 8w3d and I get a lot of heart palpitations. I usually get them before but they would be once a day. Now being pregnant I get them every 10-15 min. Just wondering if any of you are going thru that too??

I started getting them at 6.5 weeks. Usually when I would lay down to rest. My doctor said it's extremely common during first tri because your red blood cell count is increasing so rapidly that your heart is working overtime all the time to pump the new volume levels around. The palpitations are just because increased pumping equals increased room for error. Not anything to worry about unless accompanied by chest pain. Coughing during an episode makes them stop. Just a little update ladies. My OB said it's pretty normal to get them. I'm going to a cardiologist just to make sure but because of the extra volume of blood my heart is pumping, it's just trying to keep up so that's where the palpitations come from. I get them to, and it had been increasing in the first few weeks of pregnancy, now I'm almost 12 weeks and it's a lot less now. But as often as your saying sounds worrisome to me as well. Let us know what the doc says.

I've had them off and on for years, no reason that we can find, worse at night for sure and I'd go though spells where I would have them daily for two months then not again for a while. Since becoming pregnant they are more frequent but we aren't concerned. There is extra fluid in your blood vessels and hormones as well. I'd ask your doctor since you have them a lot but try not to worry, chances are it's nothing to worry about!

You should see a doctor. Not trying to scare you hun but I have half a heart and don't have them. I'm 12+4 weeks preg now. I had them prior to my last heart surgery. Just get checked out to be safe. This is my first pregnancy, I'm not sure if it's normal for women to have them but considering I have half a heart and don't have them, I would definitely be getting answers from a doctor just to be safe. I get them , I've gotten them since I had my last baby 14 months ago . I had them all throughout and now that I'm pregnant again I get them frequently ! I was told it's hormonal just mention it to your doctor . I'm going to bring it up to my doctor Monday because I have a history of a heart murmer . It's probably nothing ! ?

I have a condition called POTS I have them on a regular basis but mine is one of the "bad" cases. I know a few others with my condition as well who have it more mild and just get a little palpitations like what ur saying.
