Surgery for tubal blockage in one day!

Hi everyone,

After having tried for over a year we finally had an HSG to confirm my tubes are in fact blocked bilaterally (both). They suspect that I have salpingitis isthmica nodosa (nodules in Fallopian tubes that can cause blockage).

Moving forward we have spoken to two separate OBs and two separate REs and after some testing we all agree that with me being a healthy 32yr old and my partner a healthy 30yr old that we can give surgery a try. The RE I will be seeing js considering a diagnostic laparoscopy with possible excision of part of the Fallopian tubes and then Anastomosis of the ends. So basically they’ll go in remove the blockage and then put the healthy parts of the tubes back together. Almost like a tubal reversal i suppose.

Has anyone ever had anything like this done? I’m being put under for it and I’m pretty nervous.

Plz don’t suggest serrapeptase. I took it for months and although I’m unsure until Friday if it’s helped… my procedure is in a day so meds/natural remedies are out unless procedure doesn’t work. Thank you <3
