Looking ahead after testing

So my husband has his second SA scheduled for next week which will likely be the last day of my period, his urologist seemed optimistic that his results may be different than his first just based off of where he got his first SA done / changes he’s made. We didn’t qualify for an iui with his first numbers, I’m cautiously optimistic about qualifying after this next SA. My question is, should I call my gyno before his test and let her know what’s going on / ask if his numbers are better if we can do an unmedicated iui after his text for this month?? Or would a call be a waste of time at this point. What would you guys do? Thanks !
