Period 3 months postpartum normal?

Hey guys! First time mom here. My little one is 3 months old now and we have been exclusively breast feeding since birth other then a few odd bottles I've pumped here and there. I have started what I believe is my period is this normal at 3 months postpartum and exclusively breastfeeding? Should I be worried about a drop in supply or changes in milk? Just worried my little guy isn't going to get enough. When my sister had her kids her period did not return till at least 6 months postpartum or longer. So this just wasn't something I expected so soon.

It’s possible to get it whenever but beware your cycle could be completely out of whack. I got my first period 6 months PP with my girl but then I skipped the month after that… breastfeeding makes everything wonky. Lol

I Exclusively breastfed both of my kids and got my period back at 6 weeks postpartum with both! Just stay extra hydrated during your period

Everybody is different and every postpartum will be a little different. 6 months is an average amount of time, but some get their cycles back almost immediately and others won’t have one until they stop breastfeeding or even a little after. No worries either way.
