should i buy a couple of preemie onesies just in case?

Dr thinks he’ll be about 6lbs-6.5lbs at birth should I get a couple of preemie sizes just in case?

Premie is way small.
Newborn would fit better for that size.

Preemie was too small for my son at 6 lbs 5 oz.  My other son was a preemie and he moved into newborn clothes around 5.5-6 lbs

My son was between 6lb and 6.5 lb (I feel awful for now remembering exactly how much h but it was less than 6 and a half pounds) and newborn clothes swallowed him whole lol. I wished I would have gotten some premie clothes for him.

My son was 6lbs 14ozs and newborns fit fine. He grew out of them by a month old i believe. Premie would be way too small for a 6lb baby

My daughter was 6lbs 13oz at first and is around 7lbs 6oz now. For onesies, she’s in NB but her sleepers are gigantic on her and we prefer Preemie ones. It’s hard to tell sizes until they’re here tbh. I got a 5 pack at Ross for like $8 just in case.

I would .. I was told my baby would be 6lbs and some oz . First pregnancy . Got induced at 38weeks due to low fluid ended up having a c section baby came out 5lbs 13oz and newborn size was too big on her .

I would buy some preemies. My oldest daughter was born at 7lbs even and was down to 6lbs 11oz when we took her home. She needed preemies for about a week or so before she was closer to birth weight and needed newborns
