Take on the turnover in Virginia’s election

As you may of heard, Virginia turned from its usual blue to red during this past election. Glenn Youngkin, Winsome Sears, and Jason Miyares were all elected over their democratic opponents. The media and politicians reactions afterwards is what peaks my interest. Some are saying the democratic candidates were actually not progressive enough while others, including the media, are saying white supremacy won out. Opinions?

Edit- I’m going to take this off anon- I wasn’t sure how the comments were going to go and didn’t want it to get ugly or people going after one another. I honestly made it, because even though I wasn’t shocked Youngkin won, I found the media’s take on it quite interesting afterwards. The white supremacy/racist comments I’ve heard aren’t anything to do with Sears or Miyares wins to be clear- they were to do with the big issue in Virginia being what’s being taught in schools.
