How long would you expect a nicu stay if baby is born between 34-35 weeks?

I have hypertension and had preeclampsia with my son and made it to 37 weeks but how long would you expect to be in the nicu if it’s earlier?

Idk with my first he came at 35 weeks and did no Nicu time and went home with me after 2 days

I just had my baby at 34 weeks and 3 days. He's been in the NICU since. I had him November 1st. He just reached his 35 week mark and he's making the steps to hopefully VERY soon to be getting out and coming home with us. They're just making sure that he can eat enough before he goes home now.

Tbh, I don’t think anyone can determine that prior to baby being here or even when baby comes. There’s so many different answers.

My first was born 34+4 and she stayed just under 3 weeks because blood sugar/sucking issues.

When j was hospitalized for preeclampsia what i was told is “every 3 days baby stays in is one less day they have to spend in the nicu.” Term was 36 weeks tho because i was pregnant w identical twins. I hd mine at 30 weeks and they had a 2 month stay.
