Irregular cycle, when to test for accuracy?

I just got my period back after 26 months from my last pregnancy. I started tracking my cycle and I’m about 11 DPO with BFNs. This cycle is projected to be about 40 days long. For people with irregular cycles, what is the latest DPO you received a BFP after negatives?

This is happening to me now! Here I am CD40 and no period or signs of it. I just started thyroid meds a few months ago, so I feel like that may be messing it up.. 😏

I just bought a lot of opk sticks and tested alot when my cycles were still irregular coming off BC and after weaning my second kiddo.

I think that’s really hard to know if you’re irregular. You might benefit from bbt temping or a wearable device like Ava, temp drop or ovusense
