Sight accomplishment
Me and my husband are in our early twenties and have been trying to conceive for almost six months now. He has always had some minor issues with alcohol. Nothing that has been a severe issue but enough that it causes a little tension in our marriage from time to time. ESPECIALLY now that we’re trying to have a baby. He’s cut back a lot these past few months, which I know was a little tough on him. ( he’s been drinking since he was a young teenager and his parents enable the bad habits way too much and those bad habits are hard to break even as an adult. ) but now after 6 months of trying he decided that he is going to completely stop drinking, which is a verrryyy big deal. I could not be more proud of him, I know it seems like a silly thing to be proud of, but hey, he’s an amazing husband and will be an incredible father. But everyone has issues, I’m just proud of him for finally deciding he needs to just cut it all of now, before it does become a major problem, and just in case his drinking is one of the factors behind us not conceiving. It’s a big step for him.
