My bf just met one of my friends for the first time she came down for our baby shower, I’m due at the end of this month. My friend came early to help set up and I notice how he kept trying to go help out with her instead of helping me. I didn’t think much of it at the time. When we got home he kept saying is she still with her bf? I said yes she is” “he said I hope he treats her good she’s very nice and pretty too.” I said yes he does” then he kept going on about how she favors a celeb that he use to have a crush on as a kid and how nice she was. This is all while we are opening gifts that night.

Fast forward the next morning he followed her on Social media and mentioned a post she made about men being jerks and asked me is everything ok with your friend she keeps posting subliminal messages about her bf, what happen? I said nothing and he goes she’s way too pretty to be dealing with a asshole. I got annoyed and said how about you focus on your relationship.

Idk if I’m overreacting or it’s my pregnant hormones as he would say but I find it kinda odd, but didn’t wanna sound insecure or crazy that he seems like he has a crush on her. I mean at-least if your gonna compliment other women compliment me too. Maybe it’s just the fact I haven’t heard the word pretty when it comes to me the whole pregnancy so hearing him go on about it is making me feel low.
