What Was Your Parents Reaction When You Told Them You Were Expecting?

I'm So Interested to know your story. I know My mom told me she would kill me but it didn't happen that way!

The first time I got pregnant,  I was 19. My dad was so excited that he cried. It was his first grandchild. My mom suggested abortion. The second time I got pregnant, both were very excited. I was 21. Now they both know I'm TTC and my mom is very supportive and excited. My dad isn't as excited this time. I have a step son so he feels like four kids will be too much.  (He has four kids thougg lol)

When I found out I was pregnant last time, I had just turned 19 a few months before. I had confided in one of my aunts and told her I thought I may be pregnant. So she took me to the doctor and I got it confirmed. My mother and other family members were at the hospital for a dying family member. We'd been in the hospital with them for about a week prior. So my aunt and I went to the hospital after getting it confirmed and I handed my mom the paper saying my results. She looked at me confused for a second and then she said what is this? Are you pregnant or something? And I said yeah...
She burst into tears and hugged me and was only mad cause I hadn't told her sooner. My dad was out of state, so mom told him over the phone and I have to say, that's the first time I'd ever heard this 70 yr old man actually almost cry in my 19 years of living.
