Hcg injection site still sore after 12 days???

I noticed when laying on my stomach in bed the injection site from my hcg shot is still sore when pressure is applied. I administered the shot in my abdomen about 12 days ago. Is this normal? Should I be concerned? I go in for my blood pregnancy test in 4 days

I agree it’s strange. My trigger shots of HCG have always been intramuscular in my back hip area and never in my abdomen.

I’d call your doctor/RE just to ask. I’ve personally never had that happen before with the 4 trigger shots I’ve done. I would want to make sure you didn’t have an infection from the injection. Best of luck!

The weird thing is that up until last night I had NO PAIN or irritation whatsoever at the injection site…it just showed up 12 days afterwards…am I overreacting??? I placed a call to my doctor and a nurse will be calling me back…..
