Exclusively BF mommies - have your periods returned?

I had a c section last nov when i gave birth to my second one. I have been exclusively breastfeeding my baby and just since past month stopped daytime feeding, but continuing night time feeding. My periods haven’t returned yet! Baby is almost one year old. Is it normal for periods to take this long?

Completely normal. My sister got her first period when her baby was 17 months. I think I read somewhere, that as long as you BF you don’t need to worry about missing period for two years. After that it can still be OK, but would probably be a good idea to consult a doctor.

Mine came for the first time last month at 11 months pp. Its late this month if it’s here to stay. I did have a small breakthrough bleed around 5 months and then it never happened again until October.

My son just turned one, I got my period the month after giving birth and I’ve never been this regular. It comes the same day on the dot every month and I’ve only exclusively breastfed and still am breastfeeding, everyone is different .

No period yet, still breastfeeding almost 13 month old. With baby number 1 it came at around 10-11 months. This baby nurses more so that must be why no period yet

It’s totally normal. Every body is different. Some people get it back weeks or even months after giving birth. Done don’t even get it back until they completely stop. I got mine two months ago same with my first.
